Fireworks, Live Music, and Food Trucks to Cap Off Mauldin’s “Amp’d Up Friday” Season Finale

The excitement has been building all summer long, and now it’s about to go off with a bang! The Mauldin Cultural Center is putting the finishing touches on its popular Amp’d Up Friday outdoor summer concert series, which wraps up its 10-week run on Friday, July 31.

Running every Friday night from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. since May 29, the annual concert series has brought live music, dancing, and local flavors to downtown Mauldin all season. To close out another unforgettable year, the season finale will feature a live concert by Upstate party favorite Randomonium, followed by a grand fireworks display set to light up the night sky at 9:30 p.m.

On the Menu: Food Trucks, Desserts & Drinks

Attendees won’t need to worry about dinner or dessert—a full lineup of local food vendors, sweet treat makers, and mobile bars will be set up on-site throughout the evening.

Traffic Closures & Parking Updates

To keep everyone safe and traffic moving smoothly around the amphitheater, the Mauldin Police Department has issued an official traffic and road closure advisory for Friday evening:

• East Butler Road: Traffic along East Butler Road between the railroad tracks and 103 E. Butler Rd. will be restricted to RIGHT-TURN ONLY.

• Murray Drive: Will close completely to all vehicle traffic starting at 9:00 p.m. ahead of the fireworks display.

• Mauldin City Hall: The east entrance and east parking lot will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

Pedestrian Safety

Officers will be stationed at designated pedestrian crossings along East Butler Road to help attendees safely navigate to and from the grounds.

“Expect some traffic congestion around the event area, so please be patient, stay safe, follow officer directions, and most importantly… have fun!” the department shared in a public statement.

What to Know Before You Go (“The Scoop”)

If you’re heading out to enjoy the finale, keep these key event guidelines in mind:

• Admission & Seating: Admission is 100% free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for lawn seating.

• Outside Food & Drinks: Outside food and beverages are strictly prohibited (please support the local food trucks and vendors on-site).

• Pets: Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please bring cleanup bags to handle waste.

• Prohibited Items: Personal tents or temporary shelters, weapons, skateboards, scooters, hoverboards, and bicycles are prohibited on event grounds.
