Cohn Construction completes the expansion and renovation for Pediatric Associates of Kershaw County

Cohn Construction has completed an expansion and renovation for the Pediatric Associates of Kershaw County, located in Camden, South Carolina.
The project included a carefully phased expansion of the existing medical office, along with interior enhancements and site improvements designed to support daily operations and improve accessibility of the facility which has been serving Kershaw County since 1979. A key component of the project was completing construction while it remained fully operational, ultimately supporting the addition of two physicians. Through proactive coordination and preliminary planning, the project team worked closely with office staff to carefully phase the work, maintain patient access, and deliver the project on time while allowing daily operations to continue without interruption.
These efforts were carried out within the constraints of the existing property, including a limited parking footprint and floodplain considerations, with site elements such as ADA-compliant parking, sidewalks, and circulation thoughtfully incorporated into the overall design.
