Mauldin goes off with a bang: recapping the Amp’d Up Friday season finale

The lawn chairs were out, the food trucks were fired up, and the music was loud as the Mauldin Cultural Center officially closed out its 2026 summer concert season. Being out on the lawn among the crowd for the highly anticipated finale, it was clear that the Upstate community was ready to send the summer off right.
The outdoor amphitheater at 101 E. Butler Road was packed for the final night of the Amp’d Up Fridays series, which has provided free weekly entertainment every Friday night from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM since late May. The energy was palpable as attendees settled in on their blankets and chairs to enjoy the evening.
Randomonium Rocks the Amphitheater
Taking the stage for the season’s concluding performance was local party favorite Randomonium. The band delivered on their reputation, lighting up the warm July evening with an energetic set that kept the crowd engaged and the makeshift dance floor busy throughout the night.
While the music played, attendees lined up at a stellar lineup of local food trucks, dessert vendors, and beverage stations, taking full advantage of the vibrant community atmosphere.

With the 2026 concert series officially in the books, the lawn may be quiet for now, but the successful finale left everyone eager for what the Cultural Center will bring next season.
