Upstate homeschoolers set to celebrate the season at annual fall dance

Homeschooled teens across the Upstate are gearing up for an evening of autumn fun, music, and community as Upstate Dances and More for Homeschoolers hosts its highly anticipated Fall Dance on Tuesday, September 29.
Organized by Kimberly Gfeller and Allison Minnick, the seasonal celebration invites homeschooled students in grades 8 through 12, along with their traditionally schooled guests, to come together for an evening dedicated to friendship, fellowship, and fall festivities.
The event will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Belleview Meadows Event Barn, located at 281 Swallows Drive in Fountain Inn. Doors open for check-in at 6:45 p.m.
“We are so excited to invite local students to enjoy the cooler fall temperatures and create wonderful memories together,” the event organizers shared.
Key Event Details & Age Guidelines
This year brings a notable update to the event’s age policy. Organizers have adjusted the minimum age requirement to welcome students in grades 8 through 12. A separate event specifically tailored for younger middle school grades is currently in the works, with details expected to be announced soon.
Traditionally schooled peers are welcome to attend as guests of a homeschooled attendee. To ensure a safe and age-appropriate environment, no guests over the age of 20 will be permitted unless they are serving as approved chaperones.
Tickets and Chaperone Information
Admission includes full access to the dance floor as well as a spread of fall-themed snacks and drinks throughout the evening.
Early Bird Tickets: $25 per student (available through August 18)
Standard Tickets: $35 per student (beginning August 19 until sold out)
Due to venue capacity limits, organizers encourage families to secure tickets early before sales close.
To maintain a secure and balanced environment where teens can socialize freely while giving parents peace of mind, a limited number of parent chaperones are needed to assist with setup, cleanup, and supervision. Interested parents can opt in during the online registration process.
