Tapestry throws “40 and Fabulous” party Friday

Forty years in business calls for a party, and Tapestry Inc. is throwing one.
The Clinton boutique celebrates its 40th anniversary Friday, Aug. 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. with a “40 and Fabulous” event featuring sales, prizes and more. The store is known for its 12 Days of Christmas sale, trunk shows and the $19 room, and owner Megan Cauble Knight said this one tops them all.
“Women in this county and surrounding area chose to shop here instead of somewhere else, over and over again, for four decades,” Knight said. “We want every one of them at this party.”
Tapestry opened in 1986 and carries more than 60 clothing and accessory lines, plus jewelry, shoes, handbags and gifts.
