Korn Ferry Tour event returns to Columbia May 20-23, 2027

Following a successful inaugural year, the Colonial Life Charity Classic is set to return to Woodcreek Golf Club May 20-23, 2027, bringing the future stars of the PGA TOUR back to the Midlands for another week of world-class competition, community impact and family-friendly entertainment.

The inaugural Colonial Life Charity Classic welcomed more than 10,000 fans to Woodcreek Golf Club, attracted visitors from 18 states and four countries and generated significant economic impact for the Midlands while raising more than $86,000 for United Way of the Midlands. As a Korn Ferry Tour event, the tournament showcased many of the game’s rising stars competing for a chance to earn their PGA TOUR cards.

The 2027 championship will once again feature four days of elite professional golf alongside a full schedule of activities designed to create an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages. Additional details, including tickets, concerts, hospitality opportunities and volunteer registration, will be announced in the coming months.

“The response to our inaugural tournament exceeded our expectations,” said Tournament Director Chris Baker. “From the incredible support of our fans, sponsors, volunteers and community partners to the outstanding competition on the course, the Colonial Life Charity Classic quickly established itself as one of the premier sporting events in the Midlands. We’re excited to build on that momentum and welcome everyone back to Woodcreek Golf Club May 20-23, 2027.”

As part of the Korn Ferry Tour, the Colonial Life Charity Classic gives fans the opportunity to watch tomorrow’s PGA TOUR stars compete before they reach golf’s biggest stage. The tournament also continues its commitment to giving back to the Midlands through charitable support and community engagement.
