August 10, 2026

Families across the Golden Strip looking for midweek entertainment can head to BridgeWay Station this Wednesday for a night of classic nostalgia on the big screen.

The mixed-use development will host a free outdoor screening of the 1993 coming-of-age sports comedy The Sandlot on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM as part of its ongoing summer Family Flicks film series.

A summer classic for all ages

Set in the summer of 1962, The Sandlot follows young Scotty Smalls and his neighborhood baseball crew through a series of iconic childhood adventures, rivalries, and close encounters with “The Beast.” The PG-rated film remains a beloved favorite for parents and children alike, making it an ideal feature for the community’s mid-week lineup.

Attendees are invited to gather in the central plaza area to enjoy the movie. Local dining establishments, coffee shops, and dessert vendors throughout BridgeWay Station will be open during the event, offering dinner and snack options for moviegoers.
