Coastal Suds celebrates grand opening of first location in Ladson

New Ladson facility brings Coastal Suds’ customer-focused laundromat concept to life through a collaborative design and construction effort

Coastal Suds celebrated the grand opening of its first location Aug. 9 at 3874 Ladson Road in Ladson, marking the completion of the company’s first customer-focused laundromat facility.

Local leaders, community members, media and project partners attended the celebration, which included a ribbon cutting, free washes, complimentary coffee and refreshments, and tours of the newly completed facility.

Founded by Brandon Siler, Coastal Suds was created to bring a more thoughtful, service-driven approach to the traditional laundromat experience. The new location combines commercial laundry equipment with a clean, efficient and welcoming environment designed to support customers’ comfort, convenience and day-to-day needs.

“This opening represents an important milestone for Coastal Suds and the result of a great deal of planning, coordination, and teamwork,” Siler said. “From the beginning, our goal was to create a facility that feels dependable, approachable, and built around the people who will use it. We’re proud of what the project team delivered and excited to open our doors to the Ladson community.”

The facility established the foundation for Coastal Suds’ planned growth across the region. Its design supports an efficient customer experience and streamlined daily operations while introducing a distinct brand identity that can be carried into future locations.

Coastal Suds partnered with Choate Construction Company to deliver the project, working alongside Glick/Boehm & Associates, C Baker Engineering, Constantine Engineering, and Knobeloch & Padgett Engineering. Through collaboration across architecture, engineering and construction, the team translated Coastal Suds’ operational goals and customer-focused vision into the completed facility.
