Summer artisan and farmers market returns to Barefoot Acres on Aug. 22
August 15, 2026Shoppers looking for fresh produce, handmade goods and a morning on the farm will have both in one stop later this month when Buzzy Bee Market brings its Summer Artisan & Farmers Market to Barefoot Acres.
The market is set for Saturday, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the farm, located at 181 Barefoot Acres Way in Fountain Inn.
Organizers describe the event as a blend of a traditional farmers market and an artisan showcase, pairing locally grown produce with vendors selling handmade items, food and flowers. Visitors will be able to shop from small businesses, cut fresh flowers and stock up on farm-grown fruits and vegetables.
Buzzy Bee Market, based in Greenville, organizes seasonal and pop-up markets across the Upstate that bring together farmers, makers and small business owners in one place. The group hosts a regular Sunday market in Greenville’s West End in addition to themed events throughout the year.
Barefoot Acres is a working farm on roughly 52 acres, offering seasonal produce, fresh eggs, heritage meats, cut flowers, hiking trails and farm animals. Its roadside market at the farm entrance operates on a self-serve honor system and is open from dawn to dusk.
The event is open to families, and organizers encourage visitors to plan for a relaxed afternoon on the property rather than a quick shopping trip.
