Younts Center for Performing Arts opens its doors for annual community Open House

Downtown Fountain Inn’s cultural hub is inviting the public inside for a behind-the-scenes look at its creative spaces as the Younts Center for Performing Arts hosts its annual Open House on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
The free, family-friendly event will run from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the historic venue located at 315 N. Main Street.
Designed as an all-access showcase of the facility’s growing arts community, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the entire building and tour dedicated creative studios spanning art, dance, theater, and sewing.
Visitors can meet center staff, instructors, and resident creative partners, including:

Make and Believe Artists (visual arts and creative workshops)

Luminosity Dance (dance instruction and movement arts)

Sew It Begins! (textile arts and sewing education)
In addition to studio tours and program previews, guests of all ages can enjoy complimentary refreshments and participate in a hands-on craft activity during the afternoon.
