VFW Post 6444 invites community to 25th Anniversary Patriot Day observance

VFW Post 6444, Georgetown South Carolina invites veterans, families, and community members to unite in honor and remembrance for the 25th Anniversary of Patriot Day, on Friday, September 11, 2026. People are invited to meet at 8:30 AM on Church Street (in front of Parker’s Kitchen, Highway 17) in Georgetown.

Living Line of Remembrance: Attendees will stand together on both sides of Church Street / Highway 17 to form a powerful visual line of unity, strength, and reflection.

Flag Arch: Features a dedicated Flag Arch presented by the City of Georgetown Fire Department.

What to Bring: Community members are encouraged to bring American flags and guests to help form the line of honor.
Join us as we stand together to honor the lives lost, the brave first responders who ran toward danger, and all who made the ultimate sacrifice.
