Two at Parker Law Group honored in 2027 “Best Lawyers in America”

Two attorneys at Parker Law Group are highlighted in the 2027 edition of Best Lawyers in America® and its companion publication, Best Lawyers®: Ones to Watch in America.

Attorney Austin H. Crosby is honored for his work in Hampton in the practice area of Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs, while Derek D. Tarver is recognized in Ones to Watch in Hampton for the practice area of Product Liability – Plaintiffs.

Standing up for those injured by defective products is a major part of Crosby’s and Tarver’s practices.

Crosby focuses heavily on automotive products liability, representing clients in state and federal court in cases involving defective tires, airbag malfunctions and seatbelt issues. He also has fought for people injured by defective tabletop firepits, fitness equipment, heating pads, e-cigarettes, firearms, and more. Some of these cases have contributed to the recall of dangerous products.

Currently, he’s representing clients injured when CVA Paramount muzzleloaders malfunctioned. The company has recalled several of the models.

Licensed in North Carolina as well as South Carolina, Tarver also is one of the attorneys involved in the CVA Paramount muzzleloader case. In addition to representing clients injured by defective products, his practice includes industrial accidents, medical malpractice, and other personal injury cases.

He currently represents a South Carolina couple who believe that using an indexed universal life policy as part of their retirement-planning strategy cost them their life savings. The couple is suing their advisor, two advisory firms, and a life insurance company.

Both Parker Law Group attorneys have been honored in previous editions of Best Lawyers and Ones to Watch, Crosby for three editions and Tarver for four.
