Pawleys Island Music Festival of Music & Art announces CeCe Teneal’s

Tickets are officially on sale for the Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art’s highly anticipated concert event, CeCe Teneal’s Divas of Soul, taking place Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 7:00 pm at The Reserve Golf Club of Pawleys Island. Gates open at 5:30 pm.
Divas of Soul is a one-of-a-kind, high-energy musical celebration honoring 50 years of iconic, chart-topping hits from legends such as Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, and Whitney Houston. Led by award-winning vocalist CeCe Teneal, the performance features beloved anthems including “Midnight Train to Georgia,” “Respect,” “River Deep, Mountain High,” “Best of My Love,” and “I’m Every Woman.” 
An acclaimed artist in her own right, Teneal has earned four Independent Music Award nominations, winning Best Gospel Song (“I Heard You Prayin'”) and Best R&B Album (Train from Osteen) in 2011, as well as Best Soul/Funk/Fusion Song (“Danger”) in 2018. Named the 2019 Citrus Bowl halftime headliner, Teneal was also honored in 2022 when Mayor Buddy Dyer and Mayor Jerry Demings officially proclaimed September 17th as “Annual CeCe Teneal Day” in Orlando and Orange County.
As a featured tabled event, attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnics, beverages, and coolers (which must fit neatly under the tables) to participate in the popular table decorating competition for a chance to win prizes. While drinks will be available for purchase at the venue, no food options or food trucks will be provided on-site, making advance picnic preparation essential for guests.
To ensure a comfortable experience for all concertgoers, the Festival Tent is designated as a strictly smoke-free and vape-free environment, and open flames such as candles are strictly prohibited. The event will take place rain or shine, so attendees can prepare for an unforgettable evening regardless of the weather.
