Laurens County Community Theatre announces cast for “The Addams Family”
August 25, 2026Laurens County Community Theatre has announced the cast for its upcoming production of “The Addams Family,” the musical comedy that brings Charles Addams’ famously macabre clan to the stage. Performances are set for Oct. 16-24.
Silas Schiera will star as Gomez Addams opposite Gemma Gearheart as Morticia Addams. Lesslie Blakely takes on the role of Uncle Fester, with Michelle Womble and Patricia Young cast as Grandmama.
Emma Dula will play Wednesday Addams, the daughter whose romance with a young man from a decidedly ordinary family sets the story in motion. Keely Reynolds appears as Pugsley Addams and Randy Randall as Lurch.
The Beineke family will be played by James Donnelly as Mal Beineke, Corbitt Landrum as Alice Beineke and Harper Nelson as Lucas Beineke.
Rounding out the production, the Addams Family Ancestors will be portrayed by Dylan English, Ellis Corley, Amy Blakely, Elizabeth Davidson, Cadance Stone, Dana Caldwell, Sophia Zwan, Lacresha Dowdy, Lillie Jones, Adela Donnelly, Trey Simmons, Braxton Thomas and Sullivan Lanford.
Valerie Jones is directing the production, with Amy Link as music director and Anna Barton as choreographer. Set design by Holly Hollingsworth, and Kay Addison is handling costuming and also serves on the LCCT board.
“We had an incredible turnout at auditions, and the talent that walked through our doors made these decisions both difficult and exciting,” Jones said. “This cast brings together longtime LCCT performers and several new faces, and watching them build this family together is going to be a joy. Audiences are in for something wonderfully strange.”
“The Addams Family” features music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice. The show follows Wednesday Addams as she invites her boyfriend and his parents to dinner, a night that puts every family secret on the table.
Rehearsals are underway. Ticket information and performance times will be announced by Laurens County Community Theatre.
