Swamp Fox Players present Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night with free lawn performances and limited Strand Theater engagement

The Swamp Fox Players are proud to announce their upcoming production of William Shakespeare’s classic comedy, Twelfth Night, directed by Stacy Rabon. Featuring a mix of free outdoor performances and indoor theater shows, the production runs from September 24 through October 4.
Twelfth Night tells the lively story of shipwrecked Viola, who disguises herself as the young man Cesario and enters the service of Duke Orsino. Complications ensue as Orsino pursues the Countess Olivia, Olivia falls for the disguised Cesario, and Viola secretly longs for Orsino—all while Viola’s twin brother Sebastian arrives in Illyria to add to the romantic mix-ups and musical mischief.
Free Performances on the Lawn
The community is invited to kick off the run with free outdoor performances on the lawn of the Kaminski House, located at 1003 Front Street, Georgetown, SC. The outdoor performances will take place on Thursday, September 24, Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26, all beginning at 7:30 pm, with a late Sunday afternoon performance scheduled for September 27 at 5:00 pm. 
No reservations are required for the Kaminski House performances. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnics, and blankets to enjoy Shakespeare under the stars.
Strand Theater Performances
The following weekend, the show moves indoors to the Strand Theater (710 Front Street) for a four-performance run:
- Thursday, October 1 at 7:30 PM
- Friday, October 2 at 7:30 PM
- Saturday, October 3 at 5:00 PM
- Sunday, October 4 at 2:30 PM
