Wine House(opens in new tab) has officially opened its doors at Hartness, bringing its neighborhood wine shop and wine bar concept to the Village Center and adding a new destination for residents, Hotel Hartness guests and the broader Greenville community to gather, explore and enjoy wine.

Located at 3000 Society Street, Suite 104, Wine House at Hartness joins the growing collection of locally owned businesses within the Village Center. The new location offers a curated selection of wines available by the bottle or glass, along with a grab-and-go market featuring wine pairings such as meats and cheeses.

Wine House was founded by Nathan Luginbill and Nolan Merritt, whose shared appreciation for wine, hospitality and bringing people together led to the creation of the neighborhood wine shop concept. Luginbill, Wine House’s wine director, brings a sommelier’s knowledge and more than 15 years of restaurant and real estate experience, while Merritt, the company’s hospitality director, is an avid wine collector with deep roots in the Upstate. The Hartness location is part of Wine House’s continued expansion in Greenville, joining its flagship location on Haywood Road and a downtown location on North Main Street.

The addition provides another opportunity for residents and guests to enjoy a relaxed wine experience within walking distance of the community’s homes, trails, green spaces and Hotel Hartness.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Wine House to Hartness and excited for our residents and Hotel Hartness guests to have this experience right at their fingertips,” said Sean Hartness, president and CEO of Hartness Development. “Wine House is a natural addition to the Village Center and brings another opportunity for people to gather, connect, and enjoy time together. We’re excited to see them become part of the Hartness community and the neighborhood as a whole.”

Wine House at Hartness reflects the continued evolution of the Village Center as a hub for dining, shopping and gathering within the community. Designed as a place where residents and visitors can spend time with friends and neighbors, the Village Center brings together a growing mix of businesses and experiences that complement the Hartness lifestyle.

The opening of Wine House adds to the Village Center’s role as a central gathering place within Hartness, offering residents and the public convenient access to dining, retail, services and community experiences in a walkable environment connected by Hartness’ network of pathways and green spaces.

With its location within the Village Center, Wine House offers residents and Hotel Hartness guests a convenient place to discover new wines, pick up a bottle to enjoy at home or gather with friends over a glass. The addition further expands the variety of experiences available within the community and reinforces the Village Center’s role as a place to shop, dine, relax and connect.
