10 attorneys at Burnette Shutt & McDaniel honored in Best Lawyers
September 8, 2026Ten attorneys at Burnette Shutt & McDaniel are listed in the just-released 2027 edition of Best Lawyers in America® and its companion guide, Best Lawyers®: Ones to Watch.
The list of honors includes firm co-founder Nekki Shutt’s Lawyer of the Year recognition for the Columbia area in Employment Law – Individuals. It’s her seventh Lawyer of the Year award.
Though many of the honors were in practice areas related to employment law, civil rights law, and litigation, Burnette Shutt & McDaniel attorneys were recognized in more than a dozen diverse practice areas.
