BridgeWay Brewing to host ‘Kickoff for a Cure’ fundraiser for American Cancer Society

Local sports fans and community supporters can pair game day action with charitable giving this week as BridgeWay Brewing Co. hosts “Kickoff for a Cure” on Wednesday, September 9.
Running from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., the evening gathering invites visitors to BridgeWay Station to cheer on the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks while raising critical funds for cancer research and support programs.
The event rallies behind BridgeWay resident Nina Alvarez, who serves as an American Cancer Society Honorary Shucker. To support Alvarez in reaching her community fundraising goal, BridgeWay Brewing Co. will donate 5% of all proceeds generated throughout the four-hour event directly to the American Cancer Society.
Attendees are encouraged to wear their team colors and bring friends to take advantage of the brewery’s craft beer offerings, food menu, and sports viewing setups.
The gathering will be held on-site at BridgeWay Brewing Co., located at 610 BridgeWay Blvd. in Mauldin. Admission is open to the public.
