Mayor Senn to host Talk of the Town at Press & Pointer

Laurens Mayor Nathan Senn will host the next Talk of the Town, an informal public forum, on Friday, Sept. 18, at Press & Pointer Coffee House, 103 E. Laurens St. in Laurens.
The pop-in event runs from 8 to 9 a.m. and is open to anyone who wants to stop by. Residents can ask questions, offer suggestions and talk with the mayor about the issues that matter most to them in the City of Laurens.
The format is casual by design. There is no agenda and no sign-up, and attendees are free to come and go during the hour. Coffee and conversation are the draw, with the goal of giving residents direct access to city leadership outside the structure of a council meeting.
Talk of the Town moves to different locations around Laurens, giving the forum a rotating presence in local businesses and gathering spots.
