Spots still open for Laurens County Museum’s Festival of Trees
September 13, 2026The Laurens County Museum still has openings in its second annual Festival of Trees and is encouraging the community to sign up before the holiday display opens this fall.
The festival runs Nov. 7 through Jan. 2, and registration remains open to individuals, families, businesses, civic organizations, churches and nonprofits. Each participant provides a tree and decorates it around a theme of their choosing.
The format gives groups room to be creative, and for businesses and nonprofits, it offers a low-cost way to introduce themselves to visitors who may not know their work. Organizers brought the event back after a strong turnout in its first year, with the goal of making it an annual tradition.
Visitors touring the display will vote for their favorites, and winners will be announced shortly after the festival closes Jan. 2.
Those interested in decorating a tree can register through the museum’s online form at https://forms.gle/VyNuQ9pUUhoz7z3E9.
