Habitat for Humanity for Georgetown County welcomes Madi Codispoti as new Marketing & Events Coordinator

September 15, 2026

Habitat for Humanity for Georgetown County is proud to announce the addition of Madi Codispoti to its leadership team as the organization’s new Marketing & Events Coordinator. In this role, Codispoti will oversee community outreach, event coordination, and strategic storytelling to highlight the affiliate’s local homeownership initiatives and community impact.

A native of Kingsport, Tennessee, Codispoti holds a B.A. in Media & Communications and Psychology from Emory & Henry University, graduating in 2023. Prior to joining Habitat for Humanity, she spent three years working as a broadcast news reporter—including two years in Johnson City, Tennessee, and one year locally at WBTW in Myrtle Beach—after relocating to South Carolina in June 2025.

“I grew up in a city where Habitat for Humanity was a big and prominent organization,” Codispoti said. “Throughout my time as a reporter, I attended many events and truly loved what they were doing for local homeowners. Being in this position allows me to continue being a storyteller, focusing on the positive stories in our county!”

In her free time, Codispoti enjoys exploring local shops, cafes, and favorite spots throughout Horry and Georgetown counties.
