Music lovers across the Grand Strand are invited to experience an extraordinary outdoor tribute as Brookgreen Gardens(opens in new tab) presents “The Piano Men: The Music of Elton John & Billy Joel”. Running from September 23–27, 2026, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM nightly, this five-night concert series brings iconic hits like “Rocket Man” and “Piano Man” to life under the Concert Tent in the Arboretum.
The series features the renowned Here Comes The Sun Band—a five-piece ensemble of multi-instrumentalists—alongside special guest vocalist and pianist Nat Zegree. Attendees can round out their evening with dinner at Austin’s Harvest Restaurant(opens in new tab) (open 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM; reservations suggested), grab bites from a rotating lineup of local food trucks, or enjoy preferred seating and perks with a VIP ticket.

Tickets are selling fast, with Thursday’s performance already completely sold out. Guests planning to purchase VIP entry must do so by Friday, September 18, 2026. The VIP package includes preferred parking, a complimentary shuttle to the concert site, preferred seating, a souvenir glass, and access to an exclusive pre-show reception with wine and small bites from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Ticket Pricing & Options:
Tickets are $45 for Brookgreen members and $50 for non-members. The VIP tickets are $135. Advance tickets are required; general admission seating is under the tent. Outside food, drinks, and coolers are strictly prohibited. All ticket sales directly benefit Brookgreen Gardens, a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
