Issaqueena Chapter, NSDAR honored with awards at SCDAR Fall Forum

The Issaqueena Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) is celebrating recent chapter and individual honors received last month. The awards were presented during the South Carolina State Society Daughters of the American Revolution (SCDAR) Fall Forum, held in Columbia.

“These awards reflect the many ways the Issaqueena Chapter is fulfilling the DAR mission — through meaningful service, a strong and growing membership, and the individual talents of our members,” said Karen Petit, regent of Issaqueena Chapter, NSDAR. “It is especially gratifying to see our chapter recognized for what we accomplish together while also celebrating members whose efforts help tell our stories and preserve them for future generations.”
