City of Columbia to host annual Isabel Law Breakfast on October 2

The City of Columbia and the Mayor’s Campaign Against Breast Cancer Committee will host the 2026 Isabel Law Breakfast on Friday, October 2, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Boyd Plaza, 1515 Main Street.

For more than 20 years, the Mayor’s Campaign Against Breast Cancer has partnered with the community to raise awareness and support the fight against breast cancer. This year, the campaign has set a goal of raising $25,000.

Tickets are $15 and are available at Columbia City Hall, 1737 Main Street; Columbia Police Headquarters, 1 Justice Square; the City Payment Center, 3000 Harden Street; and at the event.

Guests will enjoy a breakfast featuring grits, pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage, hash browns, beverages and small bites, along with music by DJ Show Nuff, a special appearance by the University of South Carolina’s mascot Cocky, and a blind auction featuring local goods and services.

Proceeds from this year’s event will help fund a new Prisma Health Mobile Mammography Van, fully equipped with a 3-D mammography unit. The mobile unit will help expand access to breast cancer screening in the community.
