Bocklet Orthodontics named Best Orthodontist in 2026 Charleston’s Choice awards

Bocklet Orthodontics has been voted Best Orthodontist in The Post and Courier’s 2026 Charleston’s Choice awards.
Dr. Michael Bocklet and his brother, Dr. Chris Bocklet, both grew up running around their father’s orthodontic office. Today, they work alongside Dr. Cary Bocklet, who has cared for West Ashley families for more than 30 years.
The practice’s involvement in Charleston extends into local schools and youth sports. Its 2026 school partnerships include Carolina Voyager, Orange Grove and Charleston Bilingual Academy, among others. Bocklet Orthodontics also supports Water Mission International, and the family has participated in dental mission work abroad.
“I try to think about every patient the same way I would think about someone in my own family,” said Dr. Michael Bocklet. “People are trusting us with their time, their money and something that can really impact how they feel about themselves. We want to make sure we’re recommending what’s truly best for them and taking great care of them through the whole process.”
That means taking time to understand each patient’s concerns and talking through the options before recommending treatment. The personal attention continues once patients are home. When someone starts braces or clear aligners, one of the doctors calls that evening to see how they’re doing and answer questions.
