Cohn Construction completes new headquarters for Carolinas Dermatology & Plastic Surgery

Cohn Construction has completed the renovation of the four-story, 41,300 SF building that now serves as the Headquarters for Carolinas Dermatology & Plastic Surgery.
Located within the Middleburg Park Historic District, newly listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the building was rehabilitated in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation. The first, third and fourth floors have now been transformed to accommodate the practice and now feature more than 45 exam procedural rooms, an outpatient surgical center and a specialized surgical suite for Mohs outpatient procedures.
“This new headquarters represents a tremendous step forward for our practice and the patients we serve,” said Dr. Long Quan M.D., PH.D., Partner of Carolinas Dermatology & Plastic Surgery. “Having dedicated surgical space in-house allows us to provide more comprehensive, coordinated care in one location while giving our physicians and team the capacity to expand our services and continue growing for years to come.”
The completed project gives the building a new purpose, retains its architectural character and provides Carolinas Dermatology & Plastic Surgery with a flexible, long-term home designed to support the practice’s continued growth.
