Investa Financial Planning puts down roots in Greenville, bringing national experience and a more personal approach to financial advice
September 22, 2026Founder Andrew Kessler, CFP®, launches a Greenville-based practice designed around relationships, accessibility, and helping people navigate life’s biggest financial decisions
For the thousands of people making Greenville their new home, finding a new doctor, favorite restaurant, or neighborhood can happen fairly quickly. Replacing a financial advisor they trusted for years can be a very different story.
Andrew Kessler, CFP®, wants to make that transition easier.

Kessler has launched Investa Financial Planning in Greenville, bringing more than a decade of financial planning experience working with people across the country to a practice intentionally rooted in the Upstate.
“Greenville is home for me, and I want Investa to feel like a Greenville business,” said Kessler. “There are so many people moving here who have built relationships with professionals in other cities and suddenly find themselves starting over. My goal is to be someone people can actually know, call and sit down with when they have an important financial decision to make.”
That philosophy is at the center of Investa’s approach: a small, accessible team that knows the people it works with personally, rather than a rotating group of advisors or a call-center experience. The firm’s positioning emphasizes plain-English guidance and hands-on help, particularly during the moments when financial decisions can feel the most complicated.
Those moments can include moving to a new city, preparing for retirement, receiving an inheritance, losing a spouse, selling a business, or navigating stock options and restricted stock units. Rather than simply managing investments, Investa’s focus is helping people make confident decisions when their financial lives reach a turning point.
“We simplify life’s biggest financial decisions,” Kessler said. “Sometimes that means looking at the big picture. Sometimes it means answering the question that has been keeping someone up at night, making a phone call, or handling paperwork they don’t want to deal with. We do the heavy lifting.”
Kessler began his financial planning career in 2013 and is a second-generation advisor, having learned the business in part through his father’s own career in financial advice. That experience shaped his belief that trust is built over time and that financial planning should feel like a relationship, not a transaction.
While Investa serves people with financial needs that extend well beyond Greenville, Kessler says becoming part of the local community is an important part of the firm’s next chapter.
He plans to build relationships not only with individuals and families, but also with Greenville-area CPAs, attorneys, business owners and other professionals who often find themselves helping people through major life and financial transitions.
“I don’t want to simply have an office in Greenville,” Kessler said. “I want to be part of Greenville. I want to meet people, build relationships, and become a resource in the community. If someone has a financial question, I want them to feel like they already know someone they can call.”
