Laurens County Community Theatre celebrates 100 years of Winnie the Pooh with youth production

The Laurens County Community Theatre will mark the 100th anniversary of Winnie the Pooh with a special production of “Disney’s Winnie the Pooh Kids,” a 30-minute musical adaptation featuring the Hundred Acre Wood characters audiences have loved for generations.

Performances are scheduled for Dec. 3, 4 and 5. The production will be directed by Kris Evans.

Auditions will be held Friday, Oct. 2, and Sunday, Oct. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Clinton High School Auditorium. Roles are available for youth ages 6 to 18.

Those auditioning should prepare a short portion of a song and bring recorded accompaniment music. Video auditions will not be accepted for this production.

Rehearsals will begin in October and are typically scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
