New Simpsonville Police & Fire Foundation launches to support local first responders and families

September 28, 2026

Community members have launched the Simpsonville Police & Fire Foundation, an independent, volunteer-led nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting local law enforcement officers, firefighters, and their families.

Operating under the mission of “Supporting Those Who Serve, Strengthening Our Community,” the organization established its public presence this week with the rollout of its official website and social media channels. The foundation was formed to bridge community backing with practical resources, providing support for first responders serving the City of Simpsonville.

To introduce the initiative directly to residents, the foundation announced plans to participate in the upcoming National Night Out festivities on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Heritage Park.

The free, family-friendly gathering will offer attendees an opportunity to meet foundation volunteers, connect with local first responders, and learn more about how community contributions will assist public safety personnel throughout the year.

“We’d love to introduce ourselves and celebrate those that serve our city so well,” organizers stated in a public announcement welcoming neighborhood support.

Residents interested in learning more or getting involved can connect with the organization through its newly launched social media page and website.
