Moveable Feast announces October author and dining lineup in Pawleys Island

The Moveable Feast, a long-running weekly series connecting local readers with authors, artists, and historians, has released its featured lineup and dining schedule for October.

Founded and managed by Linda Ketron—recipient of the 2025 Frances Mims-Paul Talmadge Literary Advocacy Award—the initiative is now in its 29th year. Each event runs on select Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring an author presentation followed by a lunch specially prepared by a host venue. Most event admissions are $40.

The October lineup includes:

• Tuesday, Oct. 6: Co-authors Katie Masalin (Rocks, Paper, Flowers) and Pete Masalin (Military Brat) at Rustic Table. (Note: Venue update). 

• Tuesday, Oct. 13: Kathleen Fox (Evie Walters Takes the Wheel) at The Sea View Inn.

• Wednesday, Oct. 21: Mark Easton (Gold Trails & Cattle Tales) at Quigley’s Next Door. (Note: Publication by CLASS LLC).

• Tuesday, Oct. 27: Carolyn Hooker (Leaving Edgefield: Carrie Butler’s Story) at Litchfield Country Club.

Attendees are assigned table seating, making the events accessible for individuals, couples, and small groups. Menus feature a standard vegetarian option, with additional dietary accommodations available upon advance request.

Reservations can be made online via Shopify through My Sister’s Books & Gifts or by mailing a check payable to CLASS (P.O. Box 2884, Pawleys Island, SC 29585). Cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to an event are eligible for credit toward a future feast.
