Battle of the Ballroom

CCSD’s first-ever Battle of the Ballroom, held September 24, brought together CCSD leaders, community partners, and local celebrities for an unforgettable evening of dancing, fun, and support for our students. The event raised funds to support important CCSD initiatives, including Universal Pre-K and literacy efforts across the district.

Awards:

Chief Chito Walker and his partner Meechy won Best Costume and runner-up; Roger Jackson and Diane Ross earned the People’s Choice award; and Erin Fisher and Artur Malakyan out-fundraised their peers.

The coveted mirrorball trophy went to Northwoods Middle School Principal Bentli Lewis and her partner, Peter Snow, who were crowned the overall champions.

Congratulations to our winners, and thank you to every dancer, sponsor, supporter, and guest who helped make our inaugural Battle of the Ballroom such a success!
