Chamber opens ticket sales for 18th annual oyster roast and college football fan challenge

Tickets are now on sale for the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce’s 18th annual Oyster Roast and College Football Fan Challenge, set for Thursday, Nov. 5, at the Chamber facility, 291 Professional Park Road in Clinton.
Gates open at 5 p.m., and food will be served at 5:30 p.m. The event runs until 9 p.m.
Tickets are $60 per person and include steamed oysters, Lowcountry boil, chicken gumbo and ice cream. Guests can also expect drinks, music, raffle items and appearances by college mascots.
Football fans will have a chance to show support for their favorite team during a live auction themed around Clemson, South Carolina and Presbyterian College. The evening also offers time for networking with neighbors and local business leaders.
Chamber officials say the oyster roast sells out every year, and tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. Organizers encourage anyone planning to attend to purchase tickets early.
“The oyster roast has become a tradition that brings our business community and neighbors together for a great night,” said Dabs Davis, president and CEO of the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce. “Whether you cheer for the Tigers, the Gamecocks or the Blue Hose, there’s a place for you at this event. It sells out every year, so we want to make sure folks get their tickets while they can.”
