September 30, 2026

Congratulations to Grier Mullins, who will be inducted into the Greenville County Schools Hall of Fame on November 19! A Greenville High School Class of 1968 graduate and lifelong champion for public education, Grier became the founding executive director of what is now Public Education Partners in 1989 and spent nearly three decades strengthening connections between Greenville County Schools and the broader community.

Under her leadership, PEP grew as a resource and advocate for students and educators, helping advance initiatives including school choice and magnet programs, Greenville Early College, and Make Summer Count. Even after retiring in 2017, Grier continued to volunteer and serve as a mentor for students, carrying forward her commitment to public education in Greenville County. All of us at PEP are so proud of Grier and grateful for her continued advocacy and support for public schools and the students they serve!
