Pen a letter to the Pumpkin King: kids can write Jack Skellington for Halloween
September 30, 2026
If your family is full of fans of The Nightmare Before Christmas, there is a special postal route open straight to Halloweentown this season.
Parents looking for a fun, festive activity for the kiddos have a unique opportunity this October: you can write a letter directly to the Pumpkin King himself, and he will write you back!
A popular social media post recently shared by the account “Busybeeburbs” revealed the secret mailing address for Halloween fan mail. The Tulare Parks & Recreation Department in California is currently helping Jack Skellington receive and process his letters.
To get in on the spooky fun and receive a response, simply help your kids write a letter, place a standard Forever stamp on the envelope, and mail it out.
Address your envelopes exactly as follows:
Jack Skellington
c/o Tulare Parks & Rec
830 S. Blackstone St.
Tulare, CA 93274
Be sure to include a clear and legible return address on your envelope or inside your letter so Jack knows exactly where to send his reply before Halloween night arrives!
