JerryFest rescheduled for November 8 due to inclement weather

October 1, 2026

JerryFest, the FREE outdoor music festival in Five Points, has been rescheduled from Sunday, October 4 to Sunday, November 8, 2026, due to the threat of inclement weather this weekend.

The annual festival, presented by the Five Points Association and Loose Lucy’s, will continue to celebrate the music, spirit and community inspired by Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead. JerryFest will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. throughout Five Points.

“We were really looking forward to this weekend, but the safety and experience of our festival attendees, musicians, vendors and staff always comes first,” said Heather McDonald, executive director of the Five Points Association. “We’re excited to give JerryFest the day it deserves and can’t wait to see everyone in Five Points on November 8.”

JerryFest originated more than 20 years ago as a celebration of Jerry Garcia’s life and music. In 2014, the owners of Loose Lucy’s brought the festival to the Five Points Association, establishing Five Points as its permanent home. What began with just over 500 attendees has grown into one of Five Points’ signature annual events.

The festival expanded its footprint in 2018 to include the 2000 block of Greene Street and added a second stage and the family-friendly “Lil’ Hippie Corner” in 2023.

Admission to JerryFest is FREE. The festival also maintains a No Pet Policy, except for service animals, and attendees are asked to leave their furry friends at home.

Additional lineup, activity and festival announcements for the November 8 event will be shared at a later date once details are fully confirmed.
