Denmark Tech climbs to highest enrollment in 11 years
October 1, 2026
Denmark Technical College is among the fastest-growing for Fall 2026 enrollment, according to the South Carolina Technical College System Preliminary Fall Enrollment Update
Denmark Technical College is welcoming its largest fall enrollment in more than a decade. As of September 30, 777 students are enrolled for Fall 2026, marking the college’s highest fall enrollment in 11 years, according to the Denmark Technical College Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
The enrollment milestone comes as Eric Brown, Ph.D., marks one year as the college’s 10th president and CEO. During his first year, the college has focused on expanding educational opportunities, strengthening the student experience and positioning Denmark Tech for continued growth.
“This enrollment milestone represents more than a number. It represents students choosing Denmark Tech and believing in what we are building,” Brown said. “Over the past year, we have focused on strengthening the student experience, expanding opportunities and creating an environment where our students can succeed. This growth reflects the work of our faculty, staff, students, alumni and partners who believe in this institution and its future. Denmark Tech is built for what’s next, and we are just getting started.”
The enrollment milestone builds on Denmark Tech’s continued role as an educational and economic resource for the region. A 2024 UNCF economic impact analysis found that Denmark Technical College generates $16.3 million in annual economic impact for local and regional economies and supports 211 jobs.
