October 7, 2026
The Laurens Artist Coop on the Square will celebrate its grand reopening at a new location, 119 E. Laurens St., during Squealing on the Square later this month.
The two-day celebration runs Friday, Oct. 16, from noon to 10 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Visitors are invited to tour the new space, meet the local artists behind the co-op and browse a collection of handcrafted artwork, including stained glass, fused glass, gifts and one-of-a-kind pieces.
The featured artist for October is Petra Manning Brooks, whose stained and fused glass works will be on display throughout the celebration.
Members are encouraging residents to bring friends, stroll the Square and support local artists as the group marks a new chapter in downtown Laurens.
“Everyone is welcome,” the co-op said in its announcement. “We can’t wait to see you at our new home.”
The Laurens Artist Coop on the Square is located at 119 E. Laurens St. in Laurens.
