October 5, 2026

Clemson University ranks No. 1 in Best Schools for Internships and No. 4 in Best Alumni Networks among public schools in recent rankings from The Princeton Review. The publication also named Clemson a Best Value College, a recognition based primarily on academics, affordability and career prospects for graduates.

Each year, Clemson awards financial aid in the form of grants, scholarships, loans and part-time employment to more than 20,000 students. Ninety-seven percent of first-time in-state students receive state scholarships, while a majority of Clemson’s graduates (57 percent) have no student debt compared with 40 percent statewide and 39 percent nationally.

The Princeton Review’s internship ranking is based on students’ ratings of access to internship placement. Sixty-five percent of graduates participate in at least one experiential education opportunity, including a co-op, internship, student teaching or nursing practicum, during their time at Clemson. The Center for Career and Professional Development presented by Michelin has more than 24,000 active internship and fellowship postings available to students.

The Best Alumni Networks list is based on college student ratings of alumni activity and visibility on campus. The Clemson Alumni Association is an open-membership, nonprofit organization that connects alumni with fellow Tigers and their alma mater. Through a variety of programs and services, the Alumni Association works with alumni around the world to ensure alumni have a Clemson Experience every day. The Clemson Alumni Association’s mission is to enhance the lifelong Clemson experience by serving, involving, informing and engaging alumni, current and future students, and friends of the University.
