Laurens Christmas Parade applications now open for 2026
October 7, 2026
The City of Laurens is now accepting applications for its annual Christmas Parade, set for Saturday, Dec. 5, at 4:30 p.m. in Laurens.
This year’s parade carries the theme “Come Home to Laurens: Christmas at the Movies,” inviting participants to draw inspiration from favorite holiday films as they design their floats and entries.
Businesses, churches, schools, civic organizations, community groups and others interested in taking part are encouraged to begin planning their entries now. The parade is one of the city’s signature holiday traditions, drawing families and visitors downtown to celebrate the start of the Christmas season.
The movie theme opens the door for creative entries, from classic black-and-white holiday favorites to animated family films and modern seasonal hits. Organizers are inviting participants to have fun with the concept and help bring the magic of the big screen to the streets of Laurens.
