Lending a Hand: Mauldin Recreation Seeks Volunteers for Community Litter Cleanup This Saturday
October 7, 2026
Residents looking for a hands-on way to give back and beautify their hometown will have the opportunity this weekend as Mauldin Recreation hosts a community-wide cleanup day on Saturday, Oct. 10.
Organized through the Mauldin Sports Center, the volunteer effort aims to keep public spaces, road corridors, and neighborhood thoroughfares pristine through focused trash and litter pickup. Organizers will provide all necessary supplies—including collection materials and safety gear—along with designated cleanup routes throughout the city to ensure maximum impact.
Volunteers of all ages, civic groups, and families are invited to join in, connect with fellow neighbors, and help maintain the charm and cleanliness of the community.
The morning begins with volunteer check-in at 8:30 a.m. at the Mauldin Sports Center, located at 10 City Center Drive. The official cleanup gets underway promptly at 9:00 a.m.
Community members interested in participating are encouraged to sign up in advance via Mauldin Recreation’s Online Volunteer Registration Form.
