Polkas, Brats, and Bavarian Fun: Simpsonville ARTS Foundation Hosts Annual Oktoberfest at Burdette Central
October 7, 2026Dust off your dirndl and lace up your lederhosen: Bavarian culture and autumn festivities take center stage in downtown Simpsonville next week as the Simpsonville ARTS Foundation (SAFI) hosts its annual Oktoberfest celebration on Friday, Oct. 16.
Running from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Burdette Central, located along Southeast Main Street, the family-friendly street festival offers free admission and an evening filled with lively entertainment, regional artisans, and seasonal fare.
Live music will be provided by the popular Foothills Oompah Band, bringing traditional brass folk music, polkas, and plenty of opportunities for festivalgoers to take to the street and polish up their chicken dance moves.
Attendees can browse a diverse market of local arts and crafts vendors while savoring grilled bratwursts, hot dogs, snacks, and ice-cold refreshments. Younger visitors will find plenty of autumn entertainment with complimentary face painting and inflatable bounce attractions set up throughout the venue.
The community festival is made possible through the support of civic partners and local business sponsors, including:
-
