Saturday’s ‘The Kings of Queen’ Performance moved indoors due to weather forecast
October 10, 2026
Due to heavy rain and wind in the forecast, Saturday’s scheduled performance by The Kings of Queen has been relocated to an indoor venue, organizers announced Thursday.
The concert will now take place at the Waccamaw High School Auditorium, located at 2412 Kings River Road in Pawleys Island. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the performance begins at 7 p.m.
Organizers noted the following venue details for event attendees:
-
Seating: Reserved seating cannot be accommodated because the auditorium’s seat numbers do not correspond to the festival’s ticketing system. Event staff will work to accommodate all attendees on a general seating basis.
-
Food & Beverages: Outside food and drinks are strictly prohibited inside the auditorium. As a result, food trucks and concessions will not be available.
-
Parking: Ample paved parking is available on-site, though there will be no designated parking spaces.
The Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art expressed appreciation for ticket holders’ patience and understanding as adjustments are made to ensure a safe and pleasant event.
