SCETV to premiere Generations in Conversation: A Voters’ Forum on Oct. 22, highlighting voter perspectives ahead of November election
October 12, 2026South Carolina ETV and Public Radio (SCETV) will premiere Generations in Conversation: A Voters’ Forum on Oct. 22 live at 7 p.m. on ETV, bringing together voters across generations to discuss the issues shaping their priorities ahead of the Nov. 3 election.
Hosted by SCETV’s Beryl Dakers, the live program will provide a space for South Carolinians of different generations and from communities across the state to share their perspectives on the issues they are considering as they prepare to head to the polls. The conversation will explore what concerns are top of mind for voters, whether they feel candidates are addressing the issues that matter to them and how priorities may differ across generations and between urban and rural communities.
Topics discussed during the forum will include transportation, housing costs, Social Security, Medicare, health care costs, utilities and the overall cost of living. Through conversations with voters and panelists, the program will examine how these issues affect South Carolinians and the questions voters are bringing with them to the ballot box.
The public is invited to attend as part of the studio audience for this live forum. We welcome individuals and community groups to register and be part of the conversation as South Carolinians share their perspectives on the issues that matter most. Seating is limited, and advance registration is encouraged.
