Prayer breakfast to honor Laurens County first responders Oct. 26
October 14, 2026Laurens County first responders are invited to a prayer breakfast held in their honor Monday, Oct. 26, at 8 a.m. at the Ag Center.
The breakfast is open to all first responders in Laurens County at no cost. Guests are welcome to attend for $12.50 per person.
Several Laurens County pastors are organizing the event. Local businesses and corporations are sponsoring the meal and providing door prizes for those who attend.
“Our first responders show up for this community every day, often in its hardest moments,” said Kenny Moore, chaplain for the Clinton fire and police departments. “This breakfast is a chance for all of us to come together, pray over them and say thank you.”
Businesses and individuals who wish to support the breakfast may write a check to Clinton First Pentecostal Holiness Church, which is serving as the accountant for the event. To ensure contributions are credited properly, donors are asked to note “First Responders Prayer Breakfast” in the memo line of the check. Contributions help cover the cost of the meal and door prizes.
