Celebrating Student Growth and Creative Community
The Art Haven School of Art, a long-time resident program operating within the Mauldin Cultural Center, provides ongoing classes, workshops, and open studio instruction for children, teens, and adults. The annual show functions both as a formal gallery debut for enrolled students and a community celebration of arts education.
Visitors can explore a wide spectrum of creative disciplines, ranging from detailed charcoal and graphite studies to expressive acrylic canvases, watercolor landscapes, and sculptural pottery. For many young artists, the show serves as their first experience exhibiting work in a public gallery setting, complete with artist bios, formal matting, and gallery tags.
Shopping Local, Handcrafted Art
In addition to viewing the student and faculty exhibitions, attendees can shop original creations, art prints, and seasonal crafts just ahead of the holiday gifting season. All proceeds from purchased student work go directly back to supporting the artists and their ongoing studio studies.
Admission to the showcase and open house is free, making it an accessible weekend arts destination for families, collectors, and supporters of local downtown culture.
