Mauldin Cultural Center and To Be Read Partner for ‘Little Women’ Book Club and Theatre Experience

October 21, 2026

Local literature and performing arts will intersect next month as the Mauldin Cultural Center teams up with independent bookstore To Be Read for a collaborative Little Women Book Club experience.

Designed to bridge page and stage, the program pairs Louisa May Alcott’s classic American novel with the Mauldin Theatre Company’s upcoming production of Little Women: The Musical, which runs November 6–22, 2026, at the Mauldin Cultural Center auditorium, located at 101 E. Butler Rd.

Registration for the experience includes:

  • A personal keepsake copy of Little Women

  • One admission ticket to any performance of Little Women: The Musical between Nov. 6 and Nov. 22

  • Entry to an exclusive, after-hours Book Club gathering and group discussion featuring light refreshments and beverages

The formal Book Club discussion is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 17. Participants can pick up their physical copies of the book directly at the Mauldin Cultural Center administrative offices immediately following online registration, giving readers ample time to finish the novel ahead of the meeting.

Organizers note that enrollment capacity is strictly limited. Registration is open online through the venue’s ticketing portal at mauldinculturalcenter.ludus.com/200554094. Additional performance schedules and cultural programming details can be found at cityofmauldin.org.
