Local economic leaders are hosting a joint fall meeting next month to unveil strategic growth plans and outline the county’s transition from long-term planning to active infrastructure investment.

Georgetown County Economic Development and the Georgetown County Alliance for Economic Development will cohost the inaugural public event, themed From Vision to Investment, on Friday, Nov. 13. The meeting will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at Pawleys Plantation.

County officials say the gathering highlights a transformational year focused on laying the groundwork to turn economic potential into concrete progress for local businesses and residents.

“This year has been about the progression from planning to executing,” said Kelly Robertson-Slagle, director of economic development for Georgetown County. “Our partners are helping us turn big ideas into real investments in Georgetown County. This meeting is an opportunity to celebrate that progress and talk about what comes next.”

The event opens with a breakfast and networking session designed to connect local business owners, economic development professionals, and community leaders.
