Honoring Our Heroes: Kiwanis Clubs host 6th Annual Field of Honor® in Georgetown
October 22, 2026The Kiwanis Clubs of Georgetown and Pawleys Island invite the community to gather and reflect at the sixth annual Field of Honor® flag display. Running from November 7 through December 12 on the front lawn of the former International Paper site at the foot of the Georgetown bridge, this striking public tribute features hundreds of 3-foot by 5-foot American flags flying in formation.
Each flag bears a personalized tag dedicated to a veteran, active-duty service member, or first responder. Members of the public, families, and local businesses are invited to sponsor a keepsake flag to honor or remember a loved one.
