Fireflies home to become Prisma Health Park under 15-year naming rights agreement

October 29, 2026

The Columbia Fireflies and the City of Columbia announced that Segra Park, the multi-use venue and home of the Fireflies, will be renamed Prisma Health Park.

Under a new 15-year naming rights agreement, Prisma Health becomes the official naming rights partner of the ballpark, which anchors Columbia’s BullStreet District and sits within sight of Prisma Health’s largest Midlands facility. The agreement builds on the longstanding relationship between the Fireflies and Prisma Health.

Prisma Health Park will remain the home of Fireflies baseball while serving as a year-round gathering place for the Midlands. Beyond game days, the venue hosts community events, concerts, festivals, corporate functions, youth sports, health and wellness programming and other experiences that bring residents and visitors together.

“Our commitment to the Midlands is about more than providing excellent health care when people need us. It’s also about helping build healthier, stronger communities and improving the quality of life for the people who call this region home,” said Jennifer Montgomery, CEO of Prisma Health Midlands Region. “Prisma Health Park gives us another opportunity to connect with people outside the traditional health care setting and support activities that bring families and communities together.”

Prisma Health is the largest healthcare provider in the state, employing over 32,000 team members. Prisma Health is at the forefront of South Carolina’s growth, providing jobs, quality healthcare and educational initiatives. Prisma Health accounts for over eight percent of the employment base of Richland County.

“The Fireflies have been a tremendous partner in the growth and revitalization of the BullStreet District, helping transform the area into a destination where residents and visitors can come together to enjoy all that Columbia has to offer,” said Columbia Mayor Daniel J. Rickenmann. “Having South Carolina’s Prisma Health name on the ballpark, an organization that employs so many and cares for our community, makes this partnership even more meaningful. We are grateful to the Fireflies and Prisma Health for their continued commitment to strengthening the City of Columbia.”

Prisma Health Park hosts 66 Fireflies home games each year and has welcomed nearly 2.5 million fans across the team’s first 10 seasons in the Midlands. The ballpark also hosts over 40 nights of Fireflies Holiday Lights annually, which drew nearly 60,000 attendees in 2025. As the anchor of the BullStreet District, the stadium has hosted concerts, food festivals, college baseball games and high school football games.

Beyond baseball and Holiday Lights, more than 150 private, corporate and philanthropic events are held at the venue each year. The ballpark is also a public park, open during the day for residents to walk through and enjoy. The concourse features a one-third mile walking path open to the community.
In 2025, the Columbia Fireflies staff volunteered for over 600 hours within the Midlands community and members of the staff have active membership in 30 local organizations including chambers of commerce, nonprofits, Rotary clubs, and community sports teams.

Fireflies Holiday Lights, the Midlands’ favorite winter wonderland, returns to Prisma Health Park Friday, November 20 and tickets start at $10. Come make lasting memories playing in the snow, riding the Fireflies Express and roasting s’mores while checking out the dancing lights. Tickets are available at FirefliesTickets.com.
