Peavy becomes the newest partner at Callison Tighe

Rachel Peavy has joined Callison Tighe as its newest partner. Her practice focuses on litigation, including representing plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice cases.
She has decades of experience as a litigator. In addition to her personal injury practice, she has served as class counsel in cases involving healthcare billing and data breach incidents. She also has represented employees in workplace defamation claims and policyholders in coverage issues involving life, auto, health, and professional liability insurance. Ms. Peavy represents clients statewide, including in all levels of state and federal courts in South Carolina.
Earlier in her legal practice, she represented insurers, manufacturers, and corporations in civil litigation. That experience gives her added perspective on how both sides prepare their cases.
A native of Boston, Ms. Peavy graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law. She lives in Columbia with her husband, who also is an attorney. They have two children.
